Kempty Falls:<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

15 kms from main Mussoorie, Kempty falls at a\r\nheight of 4500 are the quintessential picnic spot. Originally developed by a\r\nBritish officer for tea parties, the falls are now a very popular amongst\r\ntourists and locals. With its milky streams of water and serene natural\r\nenvironment, these falls are a great spot to spend the day, with family and\r\nfriends.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Gun Hill:<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

There are two ways to get to Gun Hill, a\r\ntwenty-minute walk through the mall or via a cable car. The second highest peak\r\nin Mussoorie, Gun Hill offers panoramic views of the Himalayas as well as the\r\nDoon valley, reasons why the spot is very popular amongst photographers.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Jharipani<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Fall: A haven for nature lovers, Jharipani falls is\r\nabout 9 km\u2019s away from the main town. Depending on which hotel in Mussoorie one\r\nis staying at, transport can be organized easily to get to the falls.\r\nEssentially a picnic spot like the Kempty falls, here too, one can spend a day\r\nin the water, basking in the glory of nature spending time alone or with\r\ncompany.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Nag Tibba:<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

This one\u2019s for the adventurists. Nag Tibba, means\r\nSerpants Peak and this is the highest peak in lower Himalayas of Garhwal\r\nregion. Very attractive to trekkers, it\u2019s located at an altitude of 3025 mts\r\nand offers beautiful views of Himalayan peaks such as Bandarpoonch, Gangotri\r\nand Kedarnath. Also a camping favorite, Nag Tibba is a popular and safe\r\ntrekking destination for beginners.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Finally visiting Cloud\u2019s End, the geographical end\r\nof Mussoorie, with its forest cover, beautiful climate and the heritage Clouds\r\nEnd Hotel is a great way to wrap up exploring the lovely old world charm of\r\nMussoorie.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
